The Edinburgh International Climbing Arena has a wide range of activities but the indoor climbing wall is our favourite. Just because it's raining doesn't mean you can't have an action adventure!
3) See some Art
Catch Rodin's 'The Kiss' while it's still in Edinburgh! The Portrait Gallery has an exhibition called 'The Nation // Live' which has brought together work from five community outreach projects investigating the contemporary relevance of major shifts in Scottish history. Worth a look with the referendum coming up!
A real interactive learning experience for all the family. Follow the story of our Earth's creation through a series of room installments depicting the past, present, and future of the human planet.
5) The Scotch Whisky Experience
Get warm the old-fashioned way in a trip round a replica distillery and sample the world's largest collection of Scotch whisky. Yum!
With all this on offer you'd have to choose to be bored!
