One of my favourite childhood memories is seeing a really magical production of ‘Peter Pan’ around Christmas time with my grandparents. We trudged through the snow to get there, found our seats and watched the curtains rise to discover an extraordinary world where children can fly, dogs can be nannies, mermaids and pirates exist, and the sheer power of your Grandad’s voice shouting ‘I do believe in fairies!’ can save the dying Tinkerbell. I still have a sense of wonder thinking about it even now.

And the King's Theatre's production, running from 30/11/13 until 19/01/14, looks set to be just as amazing. Putting the panto spin on this magical classic is sure to deliver an evening of Christmassy fun for everyone and there are a whole range of special offers and deals available. Featuring the obligatory dame, Mrs Hook, as well as our old favourites, it really does look like a great night out for the family.

The Edinburgh Address also have a few different apartments still waiting for a family this Christmas - check here for availability - and with Edinburgh's Christmas now up and running, as well as all of this festive theatre, there are more and more reasons to spend the winter in Scotland’s capital.
