Each location is a chapter, and you can enjoy the story in one evening or over an extended period of time. These chapters will be projected onto Edinburgh’s greatest buildings and landmarks. Have a walk while reading a message from the skies.

This year the RZSS Edinburgh Zoo will display the Giant Lanterns of China, an installation of over 450 lanterns all around the zoo trails. Featuring Pandas, Lions, Dragons, be amazed by the magnificence of those lights. Not only you will be able to walk around the path and admire those beautiful lights, but you will also have the privilege to buy handmade crafts from Chinese artisans from their shops.
A fantastic adventure for adults and little ones, or simply for animal lovers.

This month, thousands of runners will run through Edinburgh for the SimplyHealth Great Edinburgh Winter Run. The 5k run will go from Holyrood Park, passing Dunsapie Loch to end the run next to the Palace of Holyrood House. The event is ideal for anyone who enjoys sport.
Children aged 7-13, can join the SimplyHealth Junior Great Edinburgh Winter Run, offering a 2.5k course.

Burns’ Night it's a celebration that features whisky, haggis and poetry to commemorate the life of the poet Robert Burns, born on January 25, 1759. During this night, Scots also celebrate Burns’ famous work is Auld Lang Syne. Many people hold a Burns supper, with toasts and readings of pieces written by Robert Burns.
