The Beltane Fire Society’s famous Fire Festival

Every year this fantastic event draws in thousands of people. Starting on the Royal Mile there will be lots of entertainment as well as a fire procession, which will lead to the Mound. The Scottish International Storytelling Festival- ghoulish tales and events

There will be lots of events during the Scottish International Storytelling Festival; discover real stories about witchcraft and the origins of Halloween. You will be spoiled with a variety of events for all age groups. Have a look at what’s happening on the day here.

Who dares enter The Edinburgh Dungeons?

This one is not for the fainthearted. Enter the Dungeons at you own risk; they will have special surprises in store for you on the scariest night of the year! The Edinburgh Dungeons will have a special programme running throughout October, so to avoid disappointment make sure you book now!

We love the Meadows this time of the year, especially when there is a bit of fog rolling over the grass.
