Things To Do In Edinburgh This Christmas Time
Are you staying with us over the festive period?
Or are you looking for a last-minute trip to Edinburgh?
Then make sure you check out our favourite festive things to do in Edinburgh!
1) Edinburgh Christmas Market
The famous Edinburgh Christmas Market comes to Princes Street Gardens from 25th November - 3rd January from 10am-10pm. The brightly lit traditional wooden huts look magical on a dark winter's evening. Warm up with a mulled wine & mince pie (or 2!) from one of the stalls & browse the gifts on sale from local & international sellers.
2) Forth 1 Ferris Wheel
The Forth 1 Ferris wheel is a must this Christmas! It takes you up by 60m for a fantastic view over Princes Street & the gardens, there are also little rides for the kids to have a go on too. Click HERE for more information.
Looking for a place to see Santa? Look no further than Santa’s Stories where children can meet Santa. There is even a Santa Paws event this year for your little fur babies to have their photo taken with Santa too! Click HERE to find out more.
4) Lidl Ice Rink
Don't miss the Lidl ice skating rink which is located in George Street (just a short walk from the market) and will be undercover for the first time this year. Opening on the 26th November 2022 and running until the 3rd January 2023 this also features a mini fun fair & stalls for hot drinks & snacks. Find out more HERE.
