For history buffs, this townhouse’s credentials are second to none, for it once formed part of the impressive premises of the famous Bartholomew Mapmakers firm, situated in Duncan Street from 1911 – 1995. Skilled craftsmen and women worked within the light filled and spacious building to produce world famous maps, maintaining Bartholomew’s reputation as one of Scotland's most influential map making firms. The imposing building has a Palladian façade c1780, taken stone by stone from the former Morningside family home Falcon Hall.
With excellent restaurants, shops and traditional Edinburgh pubs favoured by locals, within easy walking distance. Step out of the townhouse doors and you'll truly feel like a local.

Limited mobility access This property is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties due to the number of stairs in the property.
The Edinburgh Address require names and ages of all guests, as well as addresses and ID. We will require the lead guest to sign copy of our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vet any booking. This apartment is not suitable for stag parties, hen parties or young single sex groups or parties. One member of the booking party must be over 25 years old. There is a strictly non-smoking policy. A damage deposit of £250.00 is required one week before arrival and will be fully refunded pending no damages one week after your departure.
