Luxurious serviced apartment with free secure parking set in a tranquil location within the grounds of a private mansion. The apartment is just a short walk from the Royal Yacht Britannia and within 5 minutes drive from Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street. The refurbished apartment features luxury bedrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen with cooking and dining facilities, and lounge with plasma SmartTV, Bluray DVD player and high speed WiFi. There is also a modern Italian-style bathroom and laundry room. Complimentary tea, coffee and shortbread is provided on arrival. A 24-hour supermarket is also just a short walk away. With lots of lovely walkways and excellent bus services from outside the apartments, the city is easily accessible and Victoria Park is just opposite. A high chair and cot can be provided in the apartments on request, free of charge.
Interior layout The apartment has a private courtyard and entrance with secure parking immediately outside. The apartment contains a self catering kitchen/dining area with tea/coffee provided, a lounge with smart TV and DVD player and a double sofabed, 2 double bedrooms each with a double bed and a family bathroom with shower over bath. There is also a utility room with washer/drier and ironing board and a cupboard for storage of suitcases, etc.
Exterior The apartment is set within the private grounds of a large period mansion, and so benefits from private gardens and courtyard with secure parking in a lovely relaxing environment. There is a large private garden behind the apartment for our guests and has a children's swing set as well for their enjoyment. Across the road there is also the leafy Victoria Park which features two separate adventure/play areas for older and younger children and provides lovely walkways and cycle paths.

Instant and secure
Car - set your satnav to either postcode "EH6 4NR" or "134 Newhaven Road" and follow the guided instructions. The Apartment is located within the grounds of Trinity Mansion House which is the large period house with black gates and green hedges just opposite the bowling green. Enter through the main gate then walk towards the conservatory on your right. Through the wooden archway you will see your private apartment. The apartment is self check in and full details will be sent upon booking.
Train - the apartment is only a 10 min drive from Edinburgh Waverley station so we would recommend getting a taxi or Uber taxi straight to the apartment as not expensive. However you can also get the No11 bus from George Street which will take you to just outside the apartment on Newhaven Road (the stop after Ferry Road).
Airport - the apartment is 20-25 mins drive from the airport so we would recommend picking up a taxi or Uber taxi at the airport to come straight to the apartment. Alternatively you can get the Airport Express bus service from the airport to take you to Princes Street, and then from there pick up a No11 bus which will take you to the apartment.
There is secure private parking provided for your stay for up to 2 cars. Once you check in to the apartment, you will collect the remote control fob which will allow you to open the electronic gates to the property, then you can drive and park your car outside your apartment. The gates will close automatically after 60 seconds so please ensure your car is parked clear from the gates.

Host very easy to work with! All the convenience of a hotel with a private family cottage feel. Truly an honor to stay here. Nice landscaping on property and across from lovely Park. Easy access to busses. Short taxi ride to tourist areas. Short walk to restaurants and Leith Bay Area. Super cozy blankets. We felt very safe and were sad to leave.

Perfect for families. Loved having a back garden for the kids to play in. Also has a beautiful park across the road. A bus stop across the road, very convenient. Comfortable and importantly very clean. Kids loved the Tom and Gerry Dvds too!

A very nice and cosy cottage. We felt like home. Very close to very nice park, supermarkets and directly by bus in 10min in the center of Edinburgh. I recommend 100%

The self check-in process is easy and fun (like a treasure hunt to me). The location is easy to find and parking is convenient. The private front garden and backyard (includes a swing and slide) are lovely. The room is spacious. The wifi connection is speedy.

Family had an excellent time visiting Edinburgh, this location is a great base for exploring the city
We stayed in private cottage to side of main house. Very clean and comfortable for family of five. Cottage has everything you need for self catering including good wifi. Great location, good parking off street, near shops and bus stop directly outside giving easy access to city, only 15-20 min bus trip.

Cosy and well-equipped accommodation. Quiet area with bus stops nearby. Supermarket and the sea is in walking distance. The kitchen provides you with everything you need to cook and the living room is perfect for family board games.
