Bay View enjoys an enviable position with views directly over North Berwick West Golf Course to Broad Sands beach and beyond. This idyllic coastal retreat is a wonderful hideaway for one or two couples.
The comfortable sofa, arm chairs and pair of wing back chairs, perfectly positioned in the large bay window are a warming delight for cosying up by the fire after a day exploring the coast or indeed great spot to while away the hours watching the golfers approach the famous “Pit” hole with its sunken green behind a wall. Marvel at the gannets dive-bombing over “The Lamb”, a small rocky island Uri Geller purchased in 2009 believing it housed hidden treasure! This is a large and tranquil room stocked with a small library of books and a set of binoculars. No mobiles or gadgets required here! However, for those who insist on connecting to the outside world, a small study/reading room down the hallway provides the perfect environment to escape back to reality should you feel compelled.
KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
Patio doors lead straight out onto the private terrace to the rear and side windows with views to die for stretching along the sandy coastline of Broad Sands. This is an ultra modern kitchen with clean white units, a central island and all the mod cons; a Quooker boiling water tap for those instant espressos, a pop-up extractor hood and integrated Siemens appliances throughout. The bay window and patio doors even have curved glass for that extra dimension of vision and style! Perch at the coffee bar with your Sunday papers, relax with a glass of wine on the patio or dine in style at the kitchen table for six, the choice is entirely yours.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Choose from the comfortable double bedroom or spacious twin bedroom, snuggle under the duvets enjoy a good nights’ sleep with quality white cotton bed linens, awaking you will feel relaxed and refreshed. The front twin bedded room has the wonderful panoramic sea vistas and access to a stunning white walk-in shower room just off the main hallway. The second bedroom is a king with fabulous views through triple windows over the rear garden and private terrace. Decorated in a calming colour palette and benefits from under floor heating. There is a sleek and elegant en-suite bathroom to this room complete with over bath shower a haven for a spot of relaxation and pampering.

The grounds to Bay View are as expansive as they are impressive. The gardens are communal to the front and rear but there is a private patio terrace with table and chairs to the rear of the property. Sloping lawns with beautifully maintained bedding plants frame the vista to the front of Bay View out over the golf course and to the coast beyond. As if that’s not enough, the “piece de resistance” is the easy access over the 6th fairway straight onto the golden sands of the mile long Broad Sands bay. Take care and listen up for the warning shout of “Fore” to alert people of errant golf shots!

Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify your identity. If you want to take advantage of this free insurance, please make sure your verification is completed prior to check-in.
Alternatively, if you prefer, you can opt to pay a £200 damage deposit 7 days directly with us before arrival. Your deposit will be held during your stay and refunded 5 days after departure, subject to an inspection of the property.
Please also note complimentary mid stay cleans (including the provision of fresh linen and towels) will be provided as follows:
Bookings for 14-21 nights will receive one mid stay clean
Bookings for 21-28 nights will receive two mid stay cleans

Interior layout This peaceful ground floor, 2 bedroom apartment boasts some of the best sea views this coastline has to offer. A communal entrance leads you into a grand and impressive hallway whilst there is rear access to the garden terrace area. Light floods through the curving bay windows of Bay View accentuating the glorious frontline sea views which can be savoured from the living room, front bedroom and study. It has a blend of sleek contemporary interiors set against the stunning Victorian facade.

Accessibility statement The property is all on one level and there is a walk in shower. There are few outside steps to the main door although there is also access in and out of the garden door where there are no steps.

Entering North Berwick along the A198. Turn Left into Strathearn Road after the petrol station. Turn left into Abbotsford Road into Abbotsford Road - drive along Abbotsford road. To the right the golf course opens up and to the left you will see the distinctive building of Bay View. Take a left into Easter Ferrygate park and another left will take you into the garden and parking area of Bay View.
Turn in to the drive of Quarry Court and then immediately turn right - please park you car here.
