Stay in style, at The Raeburn Residence, a stunning 4 bedroom Victorian townhouse situated in the uber sophisticated location of Stockbridge, a vibrant area with a village vibe. The neighbourhood is characterised by the many posh delis, quirky shops, cafes, and trendy gastropubs – you really will be spoilt for choice for things to do. Just a short 15-minute walk, you can find Edinburgh's famous Princes Street with its spectacular castle views, beautiful gardens, and plenty of shopping opportunities. Alternatively, you can walk along George Street with its designer shops during the day (including Harvey Nichols Department Store) and at night its wide variety of stylish bars and restaurants. Feel in need to touch base with nature? Inverleith Park is the nearest park in the area, with a large expanse of green, with the Botanic Gardens adjacent – one of the world’s leading botanic gardens, with over 70 acres of beautiful landscape to explore.
This Victorian townhouse is over three floors and invites you to a luxurious stay in our city. With high ceilings, ornate cornicing and traditional fireplaces, this property is typical of Edinburgh architecture. After a busy day of sight-seeing relax in the living room with comfortable seating and a wall-mounted smart TV where you can watch the latest releases on your Netflix account.
The bright, modern kitchen has all you need for your self-catering trip to Edinburgh, including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. And, if you don’t fancy popping out to one of the nearby independent cafés, there is also an integrated coffee machine! Make cooking during your stay an experience, with the wall-mounted TV and window seat allowing all the family to be together.
Choose to dine at the breakfast bar, dining table or perhaps in the enclosed terraced back garden. This outside space is a great asset to the property and contains outdoor seating for your group to enjoy meals together. With an outdoor heater and cover this area is able to be used all year round.
When you are ready to turn in for the night, take the beautiful sweeping staircase up to the first floor, where you will find three bedrooms, including the master en-suite bedroom. This room features a super king size bed and a stunning en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and ornate floor tiling. The traditional Victorian features continue here, with wooden window shutters and an 'Edinburgh press' which has been upgraded to a jazzy dressing area. On this floor you will find two further bedrooms, both with double beds, as well as a family shower room.
On the top floor of the townhouse you find the fourth bedroom in the eaves, with a king size bed. The adjacent bathroom houses a free standing bath plus a separate shower cubicle, as well as a marble topped wash basin.
Please note we do not provide hypoallergenic bedding at our properties.
The property also has central heating and WiFi throughout.
This property doesn't come with free parking, however limited paid street parking is available in the local area for an additional fee.
Travel cot and/or high chair can be provided on request for a small additional fee.
A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.
Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of £30 for unsociable hours, arrivals after 10 pm will incur a fee of £50 and arrivals after midnight, a fee of £60. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.
All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.
Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival.
Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.
Interior layout Enter the property to a stunning entrance hall with a sweeping staircase to the upper floors. On the ground floor the sitting room is to the left with the kitchen/dining room straight ahead. There is a small WC off the kitchen as well as a utility room. On the first floor is the master en-suite bedroom as well as the second and third bedroom, plus family shower room. On the top floor there is the fourth bedroom with family bathroom.
