Our 'Classic Marchmont Charm' exudes all that is lovely about Marchmont. This property is only a short walk from The Meadows, a fantastic outdoor space for children to play, for reading a book or picnicking on a sunny day.

- Booking Requirements -
One member of the booking party must be over 25 years. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as proof of address and ID of the lead guest. This is required within 2 days of booking.
We will require the lead guest to sign a copy of our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vet any booking.

Our properties are protected by Truvi (previously known as SuperHog), the digital trust platform that enables Hosts, Operators and Guests to confidently transact in the short-term rentals space.
Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself and process a £250 deposit or £35 damage waiver. The damage deposit payment will incur a £10 fee. This Truvi verification must be completed two weeks prior to check-in.

This apartment is not suitable for stag parties, hen parties or young single sex groups or parties.

Interior layout The property is spacious and light with a huge hallway. The Master bedroom has a double bed and gorgeous high ceilings, a splendid bay window and a fireplace centerpiece. There is a second bedroom with twin beds while a small box room adjoins the master bedroom.
The kitchen is small.

This property benefits an internet speed of 500 mbps and a Virgin TV package with kids channels, Sky Sport and Cinema Collection.

Overall: We truly enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh. The location of the flat made it really easy to go to the city and as the weather was nice, we did everything on foot.<br />The apartment is ideal for a family of 5. It is spacious, very clean, quiet, close to a grocery store and some restaurants. The neighborhood is classy and historical. The kitchen is small but very well equipped, we appreciated the use of the dishwasher and some basic ingredients (coffee, sugar, salt and oil) are available. The wi-fi works well.<br />The access to the flat is easy with the key box.<br />If ever, we have friends or family going to Edinburgh, we will surely recommend the Classic Marchmont Charm.

Service: Very. detailed, clear about billing
Product: The apartment was not very clean. Lots of dust and candy wrappers under beds, and dirt on the bathroom windowsill. There were no instruction manuals for using the induction hob. Even Eddie ( who was great, and came to help) had trouble figuring out how to use it.No instructions about the TV or the espresso coffee maker. This is just sloppy management frankly. The actual apartment was comfortable and in a great location, but you need more attention to detail.

Service: Easy and smooth to book the Edinburgh address accommodations.
Product: Very clean accommodation and easy to check in and out. All appliances and heating and hot water worked well during our stay. It would be nice to have some hanging closet space in the master bedroom. We used the hall closet for this. Overall, very pleasant stay in a nice residential neighborhood.

Service: Really lovely apartment in great part of the city. Cosy furniture and grand master bedroom, all right in the middle of the relaxed, village-feel area of Marchmont. We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication from owner.

Service: Very helpful and friendly throughout the run up to our stay.
Product: Very good location. However flat has very small kitchen with hardly any work surface and not user friendly if 5ft or under (!), lounge furniture was not particularly comfortable and front room curtains are not heavy enough to block out light for the whole night. for the price paid for hire would have expected not to have had to buy additional toilet rolls!!!!

Service: We stayed in the Marchmont flat with the Edinburgh Address for six weeks with our two kids and had a great stay. Communication was good, check in was smooth and when a couple of maintenance issues arose they were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our boys loved the shared back garden and the house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely recommend this place.

Communication with Siobhan was good, check in was smooth, the flat was cosy and comfortable, and when a couple of maintenance issues arose they were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Eddie and David. It’s a great neighbourhood, our boys loved the shared back garden and we had everything we needed in the flat. We would definitely recommend.

A great little apartment, within walking distance of hay market and the city. Lots of nice little places around to eat and drink. Plus close by to my daughters student accommodation.

Beautiful and comfortable main door flat close to the university and town centre. Very handy for attending Fringe shows. Lovely shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood and a beautiful shared garden. Eddie was friendly and responsive, even supplying us with a laundry basket and clothespins upon request. Nice touch having golf clubs and balls available to use at nearby Bruntsfield links! Gorgeous castle view from one block over and a public swimming pool around the corner.

The flat was perfect for a couple of nights in Edinburgh. Lovely, quiet neighbourhood, away from the crowds, but near enough to walk everywhere. The flat came with everything we needed, and was pleasant and comfortable.

Thank you so much Daisy/Eddie - we had such a lovely stay in Edinburgh at your AirBnb. The place was very spacious and the master bedroom was extra lovely! It had everything we needed to have a great stay. The garden is lovely too and access to the building was seamless. Just off the road from a huge park, it’s a great area of Edinburgh too.

Daisy’s flat is really lovely… and such a great location! Very quiet street in Marchmont but also super close to all that Bruntsfield has to offer! Three min supermarkets within a few minutes not to mention the lovely Earl of Marchmont pub as well as cafes, neighbourhood shops and salons. The meadows is just a short walk.
The flat itself is generous, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is a little galley but easy to use and straight on to the very well looked after shared garden (magical). The cosy sitting room is perfect but the main bedroom is the real luxury!!
There was a little hiccup on the first night but it was sorted easily and effectively. And we were more than happy with the outcome. Communications were great. We’d definitely stay again…

We really enjoyed our stay at the property while visiting our daughter at the University. Marchmont is a lovely, quiet, residential area with a Sainsburys Local at the end of the road as well as several nice cafes, a chemist etc nearby. The Meadows are only a short walk away and are a picturesque route into town. Eddie, from the agency who run the property, let us in early, was friendly and explained everything very clearly. The flat was warm and clean and very comfortable and we would definitely go back.

"It was mostly wonderful. Most of the rooms were large, clean, and well-appointed, and we enjoyed our stay a great deal. We also loved the location and the quiet neighborhood.

Three details detracted a little from our stay. The first was the kitchen. We were not prepared for such a tiny kitchen with the refrigerator so far away. We managed, of course, but it made our
Thanksgiving Day meal preparations quite the challenge.

The second was that we were not familiar with the stove (hub), and we could not find instructions for it. It took us several hours of fiddling and downloading things to figure it out.

The third was that there were many electrical outlets that were either faulty or had loose wires. It was difficult to find an outlet that would stay connected whilst using a hair dryer, for example.
I also wonder if it might be a safety hazard to have loose connections like that.

Those issues were minor and did not make it bad for us. We enjoyed the flat and felt comfortable throughout the duration of our stay."
