My partner Sean is an avid cyclist and today I accompanied him to Glentress where there are some fabulous mountain bike trails and walks. While he enjoyed a quick spin round the 'red run' I had a lovely walk with my friend Liz and Bella the dog. One of the best parts was a welcome coffee and homemade cake in the Hub Cafe, where all the cyclists pile in after their runs.
It reminded me of how accessible these facilities are from Edinburgh.
