2025 Edinburgh Marathon Festival - 24/25th of May 2025

The second-largest marathon in the UK, is ideal for first marathon runners. The route is favoured for being fast, with a good proportion of flat areas offering picturesque views along the East Lothian coastline.

There are a number of other races throughout the weekend, with shorter 1/2 Marathon, Relay, 10K and 5K routes. 

Kids are encouraged to participate and build their skills too, with 5K, 2K, 1.5K and 1K routes for a variety of age ranges. 

Edinburgh Marathon is always a highlight in the calendar, with lots of support from visitors and locals alike, and a real team spirited atmosphere.
