Sustainable Tourism in Scotland We are excited to announce that we are making significant changes to The Edinburgh Address, as part of our commitment to encouraging sustainable tourism in Scotland. Our sister company, Adore Scotland won the Digital Boost Development grant of 2022, to start the process of becoming a sustainable travel and tourism company for Scotland. This change for Adore Scotland will be a journey, and we'll be learning along the way, but we believe in responsible tourism, and want to lead the way for Scotland. Responsible Tourism in Scotland Responsible Tourism is the process for both hosts and travellers to take responsibility for positive change. We believe that our country needs protecting, its people, its animals, and its environment. And to do this, we need to collaborate as a community, to enable sustainable travel and sustainable living. Sustainable Travel Companies The Edinburgh Address and Adore Scotland collaborate with sustainable travel companies across Scotland, to create positive working practices and support environmentally friendly initiatives. We work closely with Visit Scotland and Green Tourism and are delighted to have begun the process of Green Tourism Accreditation for our sister company, Adore Scotland. Sustainable Business Travel Business travel is evolving, as business visitors choosing to extend their stay in locations, take their families, or simply work away from home for longer periods. This group of travellers has different needs than holidaymakers, and hosts must find ways to enable more sustainable working options for business travellers. Our goal is to support our Owners to enable sustainable business travel across Scotland. Eco-friendly ways to travel We'll be exploring how to support eco-friendly ways to travel, enabling visitors to Scotland to minimise their environmental footprint whilst visiting our beautiful country.
