Lovely house, very comfortable with good quality furniture and furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. Pretty garden, great for cocktails if the weather is kind!

Inadequate number of loo rolls for a three week stay

We are really happy you enjoyed The Townhouse lovely garden and we hope you had a great stay.

With regards to supplying loo rolls, as you know our properties are independent self-catering holiday homes and are different from a hotels or hotel chains.
That means, our owners offer different high-end services but we ask them to provide loo rolls to let you settle in for a few days. Thereafter, guests purchase their supplies, typical of a self-catering.

Again, we really appreciate the feedback and the support you have given to our small Scottish business during these years.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous trip to Edinburgh. We stayed in The Edinburgh Address’s Drumsheugh Apartment. Communication with The Edinburgh Address was fantastic. Regularly emailed to keep us updated. They offered a very friendly, helpful service during the booking process.
Product
The apartment itself was a large, comfortable, traditional apartment. It had everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay. It was also immaculately clean. Edinburgh’s Princes Street is a five minute walk from the apartment and there are many bars, restaurants and shops close by. It’s a great location.
The only downside is, being a basement apartment it’s very dark. On a plus side, the apartment has a free parking space, which is like gold dust in central Edinburgh!

Everything from booking to organising the stay and arranging the arrival and departure was flawless. This was an amazing week in Edinburgh.

The flat was ideally situated between the West End and the Old Town at the heart of the New Town and very well serviced. The piano was a real plus and so was Netflix access.

they are pleasant polite & friendly. always keep me informed with emails etc. always reply promptly. great service.

the location was excellent. the accommodation was very spacious.
the accommodation could benefit from a little redecoration as looked sad in places. the concierge service from Harpers was very good again prompt reply & response.

Lovely furnished basement flat with large lounge diner and big kitchen.
Clean, with clear instructions to access the flat and the service manager responded promptly to any questions. Good parking space and the flat does not overlook the parking area so it is possible to open the back bedroom windows without risk of car fumes.

The owner provided an online guide that had been updated to include Covid instructions. Unfortunately it is not possible to access the gardens in Drumsheugh Square so the guide needs updating in this respect.

Very helpful and friendly throughout the run up to our stay.

Very good location. However flat has very small kitchen with hardly any work surface and not user friendly if 5ft or under (!), lounge furniture was not particularly comfortable and front room curtains are not heavy enough to block out light for the whole night. for the price paid for hire would have expected not to have had to buy additional toilet rolls!!!!

Booking was very straightforward and Siobhan who contacted us about the completion of the fo egg ms was do warm and friendly. Then Karen, the property manager, got in contact regarding access to the apartment. Nothing was too much trouble - we had a mobile and email for her and were encouraged to get in contact if we needed to. Karen went above and beyond in terms of the service provided as she made huge efforts to find a necklace lost at the apartment and then posted it back to us, paying for registered post herself. We were hugely impressed and appreciative.

The apartment was lovely and spacious for our family of four. It was in a great location to see the sights and close to the lovely area of Stockbridge. The property was nicely decorated and well-maintained. Everywhere was super clean and we had everything we needed. The large kingsize bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in!

Not really a "negative" but do be aware that it is a the top of a tall building with only stairs to get you up there.

Original property was withdrawn last minute so had to move booking to one without parking, nobody’s fault. I had to send my ID twice which was strange as thought they would have simply transferred my details from the first booking. No DVD player in apartment which is advertised online and when I contacted the concierge I’m still waiting for an answer. Website also mentions parking available at Castle Terrace multi-storey but this is closed for refurbishment and I was not made aware of this, parking is difficult with this not available. Only got entry details on the day we were travelling which felt very last minute, concierge said he missed a reminder...

Wonderful apartment, great location and beautifully designed. Plenty of space for a family of four, standard of decor top class. Views of the Castle somewhat obscured by the trees but great nevertheless.

Hiring the two flats from the Edinburgh Address which are in the same block absolutely made my wedding. The Edinburgh Address have been amazing to deal with from start to finish and the flats are luxurious but also extremely comfortable. Views are also hard to beat. Couldn't recommend enough.

Beautifully decorated and tasteful , kitted out to a high spec. Very handy for Theatre, Cinema and shops . The only niggle was the front door was difficult to open but we had been warned.

Good communication from booking to meeting at the property.

Very good, Only down side is that if you are in a large vehicle you do have to pay for the parking on the street which is expensive. However smaller vehicle can fit in the garage.

Excellent accommodation- just what we needed.
Stairs are very steep! Heating was erratic and keeping the apartment warm was a challenge!

We agree with you, the apartment is excellent and in a great location. Being a traditional Edinburgh top floor apartment, the stairs can be steep but I am glad that the quality of the apartment makes up for it.
