We were provided with clear advice and process prior to our arrival. We were met by Tony who provided a clear concise tour and information required about the property.
We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. We found the location was excellent for us...near to all the points of interest for us and the restaurants we visited were all welcoming.
The property was a perfect base for our delightful stay. We certainly hope to be back in the not too distant future.

The whole process was fantastic from booking right through to being met at the property on day of arrival

The apartment was fabulous, 3 large bedrooms, 2 of which were en-suite Large sitting room and large well equipped kitchen. Location of apartment was excellent for shops , bars and restaurants, also within walking distance of Haymarket and Waverley Stations. I would certainly use this property again if visiting Edinburgh, I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to Family and Friends

We had a couple of issues with the apartment because prior visitors had not informed the owners of some issues needing attention. We had a very supportive manager look after us and were very happy with the outcome. I would want to stay in this apartment on future visits to Edinburgh.
Product
The booking system works fine and all the info is clear to follow. However, a damage deposit is required to be paid and this amount comes off your credit card. For us travelling from the South Pacific we had to spend the five hundred pounds and then have it refunded after we left and no damage incurred. This costs exchange fees for each transaction and a loss on the deposit from the buy price at the bank being different to the sell price. Would like to see a block on the card like rental car companies do so not cost incurred unnecessarily.

Very communication through all stages of the process. Very friendly and helpful. We were able to get into our apartment early after a long overnight flight. This meant a lot as we had elderly and children in our party. We were met at the apartment by the representative who gave us a thorough explanation of the workings of the apartment (locks, garbage disposal, washing machine, thermostat etc) as well as good recommendations for restaurants and sights in the area.
Product
Very roomy and comfortable apartment. Two large bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. Third bedroom and a family bathroom on the hallway. Showers and bath had abundant hot water and great pressure. Kitchen was fitted out nicely with everything needed to prepare one's own meals. Beds were comfortable. This place was in a great location - easy to catch a taxi etc - but was very very quiet. No street noise. No noisy neighbors. Great apartment especially for a family group. Lovely art work, books - it felt very homey.

Everything was awesome, from setting up car service to and from airport and greeting us at the apartment.

Awesome view, awesome location, great for multiple families. if you don't like steps, this may not be the place for you. Nice to have a kitchen and make your own breakfast and coffee. Grocery store just around the corner. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Only downsides were the slightly flaky internet access and the climb to the apartment after a long day exploring Edinburgh.

Excellent location to walk to all of the major attractions. More basement level than expected. Kitchen equipment lacking. No lids for pots, no storage containers, no kitchen linens, no proper fridge water container (a glued together jug that gave out In the fridge), no salt and pepper shakers, etc. Bedrooms were large, spacious and lots of storage.

The location is really enviable and everything is in easy walking distance. The property is lower ground floor but is really light and airy as well. I take on board the comments about the kitchen equipment. The kitchen was checked recently and after a busy summer I have passed on your comments to the owner and she has replenished these items already.

The flat had some obvious drawbacks that should have been pointed out.

Great location, great building, very poor equipment and very noisy. The flat rent is quite exorbitant during the Fringe, such that occupants may expect quality features. However, everything has been done on cheap side: not enough plates and cutlery (I had to buy some additional on Amazon), low quality disparate hangers in the wardrobes, bad back-breaking mattresses and pillows (had to buy 2 pillows at John Lewis), cheap and wobbly ironing board, flimsy cloth drying frame, cheapest toilet paper rolls, etc...

The front bedroom is right on the cobblestone road, and extremely noisy from 5 am.

There has to be more info about the apartments such as which floor and is it a steep climb or easy does it have an elevator etc as sometime people are not capable of climbing very steep stairs such as the one in the idyll apartment in Dublin street, and apartments a floor map is a very important addition as it helps I identify the best fit especially with families with kids

It’s expected that with very good company good service although the apartment is good and has all the amenities but it’s expected that they give the same attention to the cleanliness of the place especially the toilets and as expected there has to be more amenities provided with the apartment especially to get you going if you are booking it for 7 days or more at least like toilet paper or even garbage bags
