The Edinburgh Address & Adore ScotlandWhy have we embraced this concept for Adore Scotland There are many benefits to staying in an architecturally designed holiday home. Some of them are: You can enjoy a holiday in modern or historic architecture with a stay in one of our specially curated architect-designed homes. With stunning settings and locations combined with innovative design, these are swoon worthy rentals with a unique edge. You can experience a unique and memorable holiday that reflects your personal taste and style. The Secret Walled Garden@North Berwick for example effortlessly combines mid century design (my favourite design era) with contemporary design, set within a historic walled garden. The 1960s property was designed by renowned Scottish architect, Sir James Dunbar-Nasmith who designed Edinburgh Festival Theatre. The modern refurb was designed by Gray Macpherson Architects. You can appreciate the beauty and functionality of the design, as well as the integration with the natural surroundings. Architect-designed holiday homes often use local materials and Artisans, eco-friendly features, and creative solutions to enhance the comfort and convenience of the guests. The David Blakie designed @Cabinsinthecity has involved many local Artisans. You can learn more about the history and culture of the place you are visiting, as well as the vision and philosophy of the architects who designed the holiday homes. You are literally walking around a real life interior design masterpiece and will discover new ideas and inspirations for your own home or future projects.

There is something truly magical about stepping into a building with exceptional form and function.

Find your place to stay.

Walking through the corten clad front door of @cabinsinthecity I immediately admired the textures and colour palette that highlight the natural materials used by the local artisans whose talent is on display throughout the property. This was quickly followed by admiration as to how the David Blakie designed space is divided and utilized.
